Published: 2011-03-23
The Brazilian coach, Alexander Gallo, the coach of the first football team of Al Ain Club, transferred to the dressing room the challenge language, which he adopted in the field during the training sessions recently after he directed of presenting the statistics of the pro-zone of the matches on the white board installed in the entrance of the dressing room aiming at standing for everyone’s level and performance during the matches. The program monitors the precise details related to every player alone. The technical analyst, LiamWicks, works on putting a clear mark for the player of best performance, and even the least performing player is not out of focus. The program works on monitoring the movement, spread and commitment to the plan during the match in addition to the player of the highest number of the correct passes during the match. Even the player with the highest number of incorrect passes is monitored during the match. The direct shots to the goal is also monitored and the far shots also.
The Language of Challenge
The trio; Rami Yaslam, Ali Al Wahaibi, and Haddaf Abdullah al-Amiri alongside with the Ivorian Ibrahima Keita managed to draw the attentions during the last three matches of Al Ain in Etisalat Cup and the AFC. According to Pro-Zone program that is adopted by the biggest clubs in the world, the statistics and standards showed the trio’s brilliance were put in the entrance of the dressing room and Gallo gave the order of keeping them till the next match, indicating to the necessity of seeing them and reviewing the last match record in order to make every player tries to increase the level that makes him to show his best in the next match whose statistics will be showed too in the same way.
Al Wehibi and Haddaff
The English technical analyst of the first team in Al Ain Club, LiamWicks, said that the statistics monitored by Pro-Zone program show that the players’ levels have been developed up to 75% in terms of organization and spread, pressure over the ball holder, the passes rate, speed, scoring attempts and team work. He pointed out that the rate counterattacks from the wings to the box was very law, but in the last seven matches they have been developed 30 % by the distinctive performance of both Ali AlWehibai and Haddaf Al Amiri.
There is a difference
Responding to a question about his experience in Al Ain Club comparing to his work in England, he said:” technical analysis by the computer and the critics views may are close to each other, but the results and the observations are different completely for many reasons like the real level of the football game in the English Premier League is estimated 65minutes out of 90 minutes of the total duration of the match. The waste minutes are represented in the injuries, the speed of the balls catchers and so on, while the real continuous level of the football playing is 42 minutes out of 90 minutes, so the observations indicator there is higher than here.”
Seven Goals
Liam continued:” the statistics of the pro-zone about Al Ain players were very encouraging, where the speed correct passes and team work reached 80% and if we compared with some English clubs, we find them achieving the same ratio or less; 79% which assures that there is a remarkable development in the performance. All the performance indicators of the pro-zone for Al Ain matches and during the last ten matches have shown higher level excepting the scoring column which may be because of lack of strikers or the skillfulness of the goalkeeper or bad luck. However, during the last three matches Al Ain succeeded in scoring seven goals despite it didn’t score in the match against Seoul.
